My Kingston Connection
My wife Joyce and I have lived in Kingston for over fourteen years. Joyce Reagan Nall is a life-long resident of Kingston and graduated from Kingston schools along with her five brothers and sisters. Her parents, Paul and Billie Reagan have lived in the Buck Creek area for many years.
Our daughter Sara, attended Cherokee Middle School and Roane County High School. While attending high school she was a varsity football cheerleader and we spent many hours and great times attending Kingston sporting events. She is now an eight grade history teacher at Cherokee Middle School and is married to Marty Miles, the Juvenile Office for Roane County.
I am a long time member of the Kingston Century Club and enjoy attending soccer, football, basketball, baseball and softball games in which the Yellow Jackets participate.
We all feel very strongly about Kingston and its future. It is clear that the rest of the county thinks highly of Kingston as suggested by the large amount of out-of-district students that want to attend Kingston Elementary School, Cherokee Middle School, and Roane County High School. Year after year Kingston schools lead the county academically and I want to ensure that this continues.
Kingston needs board members that have sent their children to our schools and have a daily interaction with the people of Kingston and are concerened about our city, the schools and our area.
